Meet King! This is one lucky boy. He was literally walking down the hall to be put to sleep when a wonderful volunteer was able to buy him one more day and alerted us to his predicament . 
King is now in need of a foster or adoptive home. King is estimated to be about 2 yrs old. He's a big, good natured boy. He is good with other dogs at the kennel.  He did test low positive for heartworms and we are treating him with the slow kill method. Slow kill method is merely giving him a monthly dose of Heartguard. We are hoping to find a foster home for him so he can get out of the boarding kennel. Transport options may exist if you are out of the area. Please inquire.
