MEET ALPHIE! He is a super handsome neutered male Anatolian Shepherd x Great Pyrenees mix (as per his former owner). Mom may have had more than one suitor but that will likely remain a mystery. At any rate, he is a gorgeous boy with a stellar personality. Alphie's estimated DOB is April 2023. He currently weighs 90 lbs but is still growing.
With his easy charisma and striking good looks, Alphie is a natural leader. Though a little head shy, Alphie has a great smile and is ready to lie on your feet and lounge about the house.
He's a spectacularly long-bodied, long (kind of a very dilute merle brindle) coated dog, who would benefit from proactive coat, hip, and joint care.
Still just a big puppy, he gets along with both older and same-age male and female dogs, but would probably do best as the benevolent dog in charge.
He takes an affectionate interest in cats, which may be unwelcome.
He enjoys toys. He is potty trained, crate training and leash trained. He's a smart fellow and picks things up quickly with consistency and supervision.
Alphie has not been tested with children or livestock.
