Meet Nala. She is a beautiful 5 year old female Anatolian Shepherd Dog, estimated DOB November 2018. Nala's owner asked a friend to watch her for a week . That was 18 months ago and there's no sign of them. Unfortunately, Nala's caretaker is unable to keep her and is asking for help to find a loving home for her.
Nala's caretaker has indicated that she is current on rabies and heartworm preventative. She is not spayed yet, however, she will need to be spayed by her new owner in lieu of an adoption fee.
Nala is a wonderful girl and is everything you would expect from an Anatolian. She is loyal, watchful and highly intelligent.
She is housebroken, leash trained, knows basic commands and has wonderful house manners.
Nala will likely be happiest in a home without another dog. She currently resides with Great Danes but has been known to have disagreements with them.
If you have another dog in the home you would need to commit to slow introductions and being able to separate while she is acclimating.
Nala would prefer to not share her home with small dogs or cats. She has not been evaluated with livestock or young children.
Nala's caretaker describes her as loving people and greets visitors with a wagging tail.
