GAINESVILLE TEXAS: FOSTER, FOSTER TO ADOPT OR ADOPTION Meet Theo! He came from a hoarding/neglect situation and consequently ended up in a shelter. Thankfully we were lucky to secure his release and he is now in boarding. We are hoping to find handsome Theo a foster home, foster-to-adopt home or a loving adoptive home. We estimate Theo's DOB to be June 2018. He is extremely underweight but he has a wonderful appetite and we hope to put some much needed weight on him. He is neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm preventative. We figure he may be about 20-25 pounds underweight at this time. Theo appears to have suffered some sort of trauma to his back legs that cause him to walk a little funny, however, he has healed on his own and does not seem to be in any pain. The vet has advised us that no treatment is needed at this point. We can provide more info and vet records if needed. Theo is a giant love bug. He is a happy guy and affectionate. He LOVES to be loved on and would be so completely thrilled to have a person or family to call his own. He has a lot of love to give and will make an outstanding and loyal best friend and guardian. Theo is good with other dogs, however, he needs to be able to eat by himself and he doesnt like to share food or high value treasures. If you love big, laid back dogs, Theo may just be what you're looking for! Please be aware that we have not tested him with children. Most Anatolians are not well suited to apartment living.
