Meet Major.  He is a 2 year old neutered male Anatolian Shepherd x Great Pyrenees.  The family vet diagnosed Major as having kidney stones and recommends that he eats a special diet/food.  His owners have several other LGDs and feed them from the same feeder, rendering them unable to feed Major a different food than the others.  For this reason, they are seeking a new home for Major.
 
  • Major is 2 yrs old est DOB Oct 2020
  • He weighs 85 lbs
  • Neutered
  • Heartworm negative
 
  • Major has been a working livestock guardian dog.  
  • He has been raised with sheep, goats and pigs.  
  • He has not been in direct contact with chickens or other birds.
  • Major is good with other dogs including small dogs
  • He has not been raised with cats
  • Major is good with children
  • He is NOT an escape artist
 
Major's perfect home will be with someone who will provide him the special diet that he requires
so he does not form more kidney stones.
 
Major is friendly with people and is a very sweet natured, friendly boy.  He just needs
someone who will feed him kidney diet food so he can have a happy life.
