Meet Gianna! This pretty girl has had a rough life thus far, but she holds no grudges and enjoys life to the fullest.  When we found her, she was pregnant and living on her own in a field.   It's obvious that she has had many litters, however, she has now raised her last pups and is ready to start her new life!  

Gianna is a very loving girl and will make an exceptional companion and loyal best friend.  Although she is friendly she does have Pyrenees instincts and has a really big bark!  She definitely has the flock guardian instincts for protecting her home and family. 

Gianna is:

• Friendly with people
• Good with other dogs (prefers calm dogs, can be intimidated by rowdy, bigger dogs)
• Good with cats
• Housebroken
• Leash trained
• Knows basic commands
• Rides well in a car
• Uses doggy door
• Trained to use a ramp for loading into vehicle

Gianna has not been tested with:

• Children
• Livestock
• In an urban environment

Will do best:

• Not crated
• Fed in her own space
• Have vet or groomer trim her nails

Has been known to:

• Counter surf 
• Explore kitchen trash (has improved greatly, though, now that she doesnt have to forage for her own meals like she did before)

Secure fencing is required on all adoptions, preferably minimum of 5 ft 

Vet reference is required on all adoptions

Transport assistance may be available within 1,000 miles depending on where you live and the availability of volunteer drivers on the route.
