DALLAS, TEXAS Meet pretty Miss Penny! She is a beautiful spayed female Anatolian Shepherd x Great Pyrenees cross. We were able to save Penny from the kill list at the shelter and she is now in foster care, waiting for her forever family to find her! Penny's estimated DOB is August 2017 so she is right around 2 yrs old. She came to us very skinny but she is starting to put some weight on. Penny did test mild heartworm positive and we are treating her with ivermectin. She does not have any signs or symptoms and should live out a normal, healthy life. Penny is just about the sweetest girl you could ask for. She is friendly with everyone she meets, both human and canine. She loves to snuggle with you and truly enjoys being with people. Penny is great with other dogs and gets along well with the dogs in her foster home. She is also good with cats! Penny has good manners indoors; she is housebroken and is not destructive. She is good with older children but we have not evaluated her with toddlers. Transport options are available within 1,000 miles depending on where you live.
