BLOOMING PRAIRIE, MICHIGAN: ADOPT

Lena is a beautiful, well-behaved girl that is in need of a home. She has been raised around cows, horses, goats and chickens but she adores children most of all. She would do best in a family situation because she enjoys people and loves to go on leashed walks. Her owner says she is very gentle and loves to snuggle.

Lena gets along with other large dogs but she can be a bit bossy so they need to agree to step aside and let her be in charge. She is also protective of her food around other dogs so she should be fed in a separate area. She is reportedly good with cats and although she is house trained, she sometimes enjoys sleeping outside under the stars inside her fenced yard.  Lena sounds like a well-rounded dog that should make a wonderful addition to someone's family and home.
