TEXAS, DALLAS; "ELMO" Elmo was found as a stray in a small Texas town and soon found himself in the local animal shelter. In the shelter, he was scared, confused and lonely. Shelter volunteers helped Elmo hook up with the National Anatolian Shepherd Rescue Network, and soon Elmo was whisked away to a temporary foster home in Dallas. Once in a home Elmo's real personality shined! This boy is loving, playful, eager to please, and sweet as candy. And what a smile Elmo has! He is so starved both for food and love. Currently his foster mom is fattening him up with plenty of both. Elmo gets along well with his foster siblings, but unfortunately Elmo can't stay here forever. Would you be willing to give Elmo the love he desperately craves? He will not disappoint! Elmo is waiting! TRANSPORT OPTIONS: Brody is eligible for transport to points along the east coast with a rescue transporter. This service typically runs $175. Also, depending on where you live, we can often help with transport within approximately 1,000 miles via volunteer relay transport drivers. There is no charge for a volunteer relay transport, but the foster/adopter usally drives the last segment of the trip.
