DALLAS TEXAS: Meet Opie! He is a very handsome, good natured Anatolian Shepherd Dog, estimated DOB 12/17/15. Opie was just pulled off doggy death row in a shelter and is in need of either a foster or adoptive home. He has been very friendly and playful with our volunteers. He needs some work on basic obedience and leash skills, however, he is a very smart boy and really, really wants to be a good boy. Please email us if you are interested in either fostering or adopting. caycee@nasrn.com TRANSPORT OPTIONS: Opie is eligible for transport to points along the east coast with a rescue transporter ($175). Also, depending on where you live, we can often help with transport within appx 1000 miles via volunteer drivers. There is no charge for this transport but the foster/adopter usually drives the last leg/increment of the trip.
