DALLAS TEXAS Meet Duke! He is a very handsome 3 yo neutered male Anatolian Shepherd Dog. He was given up by his owner (and almost shot) because he wasn't working out as a working dog. He has adapted very quickly to being an indoor/outdoor dog and loves to be with his people and snuggle on the couch. His foster mom reports that he is a quiet gentleman who is loving, gentle and graceful. He loves to be petted and also loves to snuggle. Duke gets long well with small, medium and large sized dogs of both genders. He is submissive and never picks a fight. He has no food aggression or resource guarding. He is crate trained and potty trained and also walks nicely on leash. He needs some work on basic obedience skills. Duke is a wonderful, gentle and loving dog who will do best in a quiet home. He would not be happy in a home with small kids or a lot of foot traffic/visitors coming and going.
